Purchaser
Responsibilities:
• Source electronic components, printed circuit boards, and production-related materials to meet manufacturing demand.
• Oversee purchasing activities from requisition review through purchase order release, shipment follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Convert material planning and ERP signals into accurate purchase orders aligned with production schedules.
• Build productive supplier partnerships and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms that support business goals.
• Track vendor performance in areas such as quality, on-time delivery, and overall cost competitiveness.
• Identify alternate and new suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and improve purchasing options.
• Work with internal teams including engineering and production to ensure timely material availability for ongoing builds.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and update transaction details within the ERP system, with preference for Syteline experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and market conditions to reduce shortages, control excess stock, and address potential supply risks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.• Experience purchasing electronic components and bare boards in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on familiarity with ERP or MRP purchasing systems; Syteline experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of supply chain practices, electronics manufacturing, and international sourcing is a plus.
Compensation
