Customer Service Representative
Our client in the nonprofit industry is seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Customer Service Representative to support constituents, donors, members, and community partners through professional and timely communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, resolving inquiries, and contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries from donors, clients, members, and community stakeholders
- Provide accurate information regarding programs, services, events, and organizational resources
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions in internal systems
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and general administrative support
- Support outreach efforts, event registration, and follow-up communications
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and effective service delivery
- Process forms, applications, donations, or service requests as applicable
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in all interactions
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of customer service, call center, administrative, or related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or database systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization and serving the community
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, education, or community-focused environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
Compensation
