Senior Accountant

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations, cost accounting analysis, inventory reporting, and month-end close activities. This role offers visibility across multiple departments and the opportunity to partner directly with operations leadership. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and analysis drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Prepare month-end close entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze inventory transactions and manufacturing variances
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation reporting
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Review balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analyses
• Assist with annual audits and compliance reporting
• Identify process improvements and accounting efficiencies
• Support ERP system enhancements and reporting initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory accounting experience preferred
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics) highly preferred
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• CPA designation is a plus
