Program Coordinator

Compensation: $20 to $27 Hourly

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nonprofit programs and community initiatives. This position ensures efficient program operations, maintains compliance and reporting requirements, and fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and program participants. The ideal candidate is highly organized, mission-driven, and passionate about creating meaningful community impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program activities, events, and schedules to ensure successful execution and participant engagement.
  • Monitor program performance and track key metrics, outcomes, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate participant records, databases, and program documentation.
  • Assist with grant administration, including tracking deliverables, reporting deadlines, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and program updates for leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for community partners, participants, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, donor engagement efforts, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Manage calendars, timelines, and project milestones to ensure timely completion of program objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program processes, efficiency, and participant experience.
  • Support special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.



Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Services, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, nonprofit operations, community engagement, fundraising support, or related roles.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and event coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, community partners, donors, and program participants.
  • Experience tracking program outcomes, analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting grant compliance requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, time-management, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for mission-driven work and creating measurable community impact.
  • Proficiency with nonprofit and project management software, including Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

Compensation

$20.00-$27.00 Hourly
