Facility Coordinator
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained work environment by coordinating vendors, managing service requests, and supporting workplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and facility-related services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling, performance tracking, and issue resolution
- Track and respond to facility work orders and service requests in a timely manner
- Support office operations including space planning, workstation setup, and employee moves
- Maintain facility records, contracts, and maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address issues proactively
- Order and manage inventory for office and facility supplies
- Assist with emergency response procedures and building access/security coordination
- Support projects such as renovations, upgrades, or office expansions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in facilities, office administration, or operations support
- Experience coordinating vendors and handling maintenance requests
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience using facilities management systems (CMMS, work order systems)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Budget tracking or invoice processing experience
Compensation
