Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our Sales team. We are looking for someone who is focused on team management and overall improvement of sales performance and company profits. This is a remote position (East Coast Preferred).
The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and hands-on leadership to establish a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to sales.
Relatable industry experience is required. Food Processing Equipment, Capital Equipment Distribution, Cooking / Baking Equipment
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market presence and revenue
• Align commercial initiatives across equipment, parts, and services to maximize customer lifetime value.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team by fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
• Establish and refine forecasting, sales processes, and organizational discipline to support scalable business growth.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with customers, including key decision-makers in bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, and institutional foodservice operations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure seamless project execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Create a data-driven sales organization by defining KPIs, analyzing market trends, and adjusting strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead and refine sales approaches accordingly.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B sales leadership within capital equipment, foodservice equipment or food processing equipment industries.
• A proven history of scaling revenue teams and achieving sustained business growth.
• Expertise in building disciplined, metrics-oriented sales teams with strong process adoption.
• Experience in the bakery or food production industry is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and team leadership activities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence strategic decision-making and foster collaboration.
