Sr. Financial Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in driving financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making through advanced analysis and modeling techniques. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in financial planning and have a strong aptitude for data-driven problem solving.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support business strategies and operational decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and evaluate potential initiatives.
• Perform detailed variance analyses to identify trends and deviations in key financial metrics.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports to address urgent queries and provide actionable insights.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and planning.
• Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to streamline financial processes and enhance data accuracy.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting.
• Monitor market trends and internal performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance, FP& A, or related environment.• Strong capability in building and refining financial models for planning, forecasting, and business evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct variance analysis and clearly communicate underlying performance drivers.
• Experience delivering ad hoc financial analysis in response to changing business priorities and leadership needs.
• Proficiency in data mining techniques and working with large or complex financial data sets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its use in financial reporting or analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to present financial information in a concise, business-focused manner.
Compensation
