Maintenance Technician II: $59,849 - $80,218 annually

The City of Elk Grove Public Works Department is currently looking for skilled individuals to join the Operations & Maintenance Division!

The Operations & Maintenance Division is responsible for the construction, operations, and maintenance of roadways, sidewalks, curb-ramps, traffic signals, streetlights, signs & markings, landscaping, and drainage. The Operation & Maintenance division is seeking candidates with experience in the construction and/or maintenance of roadway striping, pavement markings, traffic signs, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, permits, maintenance practices, and industry standards. They will demonstrate sound judgment, effective decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently while exercising initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
