Purpose:
The Global Commercial Insights, Strategy & Operations Leader role within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) designs executive-level strategic planning initiatives, partnering cross-functionally, including global strategic marketing and corporate development teams to develop and deploy organizational change initiatives; Shapes vision for the long-range strategic plan, utilizing the resource allocation processes to ensure deliverables are sufficient over the course of the strategic horizon to meet customer needs. The role will be a core member of the GCSO Oncology Leadership Team and will be partner closely with senior leaders in the planning and execution of key projects within the Oncology game plan. This individual will lead a team and report to the GCSO Oncology WWVP.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$178,000.00 - $307,050.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

- Team Capability Development and effectiveness: Drivecapability development across team, providing opportunities for skill enhancement, and fostering a culture of continuous learning; proactively identify and mentor potential future leaders for growth within the team and beyond. Shaping growth opportunities to accelerate talent across the organization.
- Coordination of Strategic Projects with GCSO Oncology LT- Lead broad-based strategic projects for the Oncology TA with full accountability for successful project delivery and demonstrated business impact such as co-positioning of multiple assets. Oversight and execution of strategic deliverables of the Oncology game plan. Work independently to oversee multiple projects simultaneously; responsible for contributing to and independently developing business strategies.
- Strategic congress and key opinion leader engagements planning and execution- Lead global strategy for major oncology congresses and key opinion leader engagement, aligning scientific data, commercial priorities, and the Oncology game plan. Partner cross‑functionally to shape cohesive congress narratives and competitive positioning, and drive disciplined planning, execution, and post‑congress synthesis to translate external insights into actionable commercial strategy and long‑term portfolio decisions.
- Business Cycle Deliverables - Shape & Drive core business cycle deliverables for TA including annual BP, G&Os, TA updates to Sr. Executives
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or related industry is required.
- Business experience with solid business acumen (previous experience managing P&L is desired).
- Oncology background is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a commercial function is required (marketing, market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, or related function)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design, structure, and lead projects required
- An understanding of major trends and dynamics in the pharmaceutical sector required
- The ability to build and maintain credibility with senior leaders is required
- Demonstrated ability to work across functional and geographic boundaries required
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently required
- A proven track record of success in ambiguous and complex environments required
