Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector, Air Dominance Division is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Program Manager 3 for Program Operations to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and requires 25 % travel.
The Program Manager leads all phases of key Program Operations, manages the day-to-day administration, logistics, and workflow of organizational programs to ensure efficiency, compliance, and goal achievement. Develops and oversees project schedules, manages data, improves operational processes, and serves as a liaison between teams and stakeholders. Implements and supports the daily, ongoing operations of the program to meet organizational objectives. Analyzes workflows to identify bottlenecks, driving efficiency, and implements best practices. Tracks key performance metrics, creates analytical reports, and manages data systems. Point of contact for internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure alignment. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts. Acts as customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from procurement activities to information systems sustainment and administrative areas.
In addition to the program role, the program manager will support various higher-level operating unit functions such as strategy development, capture, proposals, and internal quality assessments.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below:
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
EVMS Proficiency.
Ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years’ experience as a program manager overseeing procurement type activities, firm-fixed contract types and organizing multi-disciplined teams supporting diverse customers.
Experience in Global Supply Chain Management.
Certified Project Management Professional.
Experience in managing geographically separated teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong financial acumen.
Experienced in Lean Six Sigma process improvement methods.
Demonstrated success in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and improvements to customer experience.
