Job Description:

Brooks Instrument (www.brooksinstrument.com), an industry leader in flow and pressure instrumentation for critical applications, is seeking candidates for a Quality Administrator positions that will be based at the company headquarters in Hatfield, Pennsylvania (suburban Philadelphia). Basic Function

Work under general supervision, carry out a variety of moderately complex quality assignments exercising considerable to extensive latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.  Ensure change control records are complete and accurate.  Serve as a point of contact resource to others in the administration of Quality System activities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Document Control, Management of Change

  • Create, manage, and process deviations and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in Teamcenter, including setup, workflow initiation, and status tracking.

  • Review engineering changes for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation, approvals, BOMs, drawings, and impacted items are included prior to release.

  • Monitor and follow up on ECN and deviation workflows to ensure timely completion, resolve issues, maintain data integrity, and support cross-functional teams throughout the change management process.

  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering and IT to support Teamcenter functionality, troubleshoot system and workflow issues, and coordinate process improvements and system updates.

  • Import drawings into Teamcenter and work within the MAPICS environment.

  • Review and release HOP’s/HPI’s into Teamcenter.

Audit Support

  • Coordinate, file and follow-up system audit and corrective action documentation.

  • Maintain ISO 9001audit and internal audit files.

Other Duties

  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.

  • Regular attendance and the ability to get along with others in a team environment.

  • The ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • Support company continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and/or educated with a Technical Associates degree, or vocational program.

  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Teamcenter.

  • Familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD environments such as Autocad and UG a plus.
