Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Northwest Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: $21–$26/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

A well-established company in NW Oklahoma City is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with the potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Maintain and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts

Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy

Review and reconcile credit card statements

Prepare and process invoices

Assist with month-end close activities

Create and maintain spreadsheets and financial reports in Excel

Support the accounting team with additional administrative and reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Experience with Peachtree accounting software required

Working knowledge of GL, AP/AR, and month-end processes

Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and communication skills
