Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day promotional efforts and help strengthen brand visibility in Pismo Beach, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience who enjoys coordinating campaigns, managing outreach activities, and contributing to both digital and in-person marketing initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work across email, social media, events, and direct marketing projects while keeping activities organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and execution of marketing programs that increase awareness and audience engagement.
• Coordinate email outreach efforts, including preparing content, organizing distribution schedules, and monitoring campaign progress.
• Assist with social media activity by scheduling posts, tracking engagement, and helping maintain a consistent brand presence.
• Help organize promotional events by managing logistics, materials, and communication with internal teams or external partners.
• Contribute to direct marketing initiatives by preparing campaign assets and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time.
• Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, and other records to keep activities aligned with deadlines and priorities.
• Work with team members to gather updates, support campaign rollouts, and help ensure smooth execution of marketing tasks.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a marketing support or coordination role.
• Familiarity with email campaign execution and general marketing activity support.
• Experience assisting with event coordination and promotional planning.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and content scheduling practices.
• Exposure to direct marketing campaigns and related administrative tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments at once.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a detail-focused work environment.

Compensation

$19.79-$22.91 Hourly
