Investments Accounting Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented Investments Accounting Manager to join our dynamic real estate and property team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who can manage financial processes and ensure compliance with auditing standards. Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor and manage account reconciliation processes to resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Analyze financial data and generate detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
• Implement best practices for financial management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in developing and improving financial procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with investment teams to provide accounting support for fund and trust activities.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to streamline accounting operations and perform in-depth financial analysis.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Minimum of five years of accounting experience in family office, fund, trust, or investment management environments.
• Strong proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial audits and experience collaborating with auditors.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Expertise in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
