Accounts Receivable Specialist

King of Prussia, PA 19406-2429, US Contract
Compensation: $26 to $27 Hourly

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This role requires someone who pays close attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and is skilled in managing various aspects of accounts receivable processes. As a contract position, this opportunity offers the potential for long-term growth within the organization.


Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment applications, account reconciliations, and handling unapplied cash.

• Perform regular batching and deposits for credit card payments and financing transactions.

• Utilize a check scanner to deposit daily check batches into the bank account accurately and efficiently.

• Handle customer refunds and chargebacks promptly to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Monitor and manage collection efforts across multiple entities to reduce aged receivables and improve cash flow.

• Conduct thorough aging reviews, document trends, and escalate unresolved issues to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement strategies for minimizing outstanding receivables.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of credit memos and maintain organized records for audit purposes.

• Support reconciliation efforts to maintain consistency and accuracy across financial accounts.


Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash applications, and collections.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial processes.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with commercial collections and cash activity management.

Compensation

$26.00-$27.00 Hourly
