Accounts Receivable/Credit Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable/Credit Specialist to support a manufacturing operation in Duncan, South Carolina on a Contract basis. This short-term assignment is expected to run approximately 30 to 45 days and is suited for someone who can step in quickly and manage daily receivables and credit-related activities with minimal ramp-up. The position will work closely with internal sales partners to keep customer orders moving smoothly while maintaining accurate invoice and statement support.

Responsibilities:
• Review customer accounts and release orders in a timely manner based on credit status and account standing.
• Partner with sales team members to address order-related questions and help resolve issues that may affect processing.
• Provide customers with updated account statements and invoice copies as requested, ensuring information is accurate and complete.
• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and credit support activities for an active manufacturing environment.
• Use SAP ERP and other internal tools to research account details, verify transactions, and document follow-up actions.
• Monitor purchase order and payment-related information to help maintain smooth order flow and account accuracy.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or a closely related finance support role.
• Background in order release processing and customer account review within a business environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP and the ability to navigate account and transaction details efficiently.
• Experience handling invoices, account statements, and purchase order information with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and provide responsive customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to step into a short-term Contract assignment and contribute immediately.

Compensation

$28.50-$33.00 Hourly
