Medical Front Desk Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients upon arrival, confirm appointment details, and guide them through the check-in process with professionalism and care.
• Coordinate new and existing patient appointments, manage schedule adjustments, and communicate changes clearly to patients and staff.
• Handle front desk communications by answering calls, responding to routine inquiries, and directing messages to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate patient information within electronic medical record systems and update documentation as needed during visits.
• Support daily reception operations by preparing forms, verifying basic demographic details, and keeping the front office organized.
• Assist with patient flow by monitoring arrivals, notifying clinical staff of check-ins, and helping reduce delays in the waiting area.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in a medical front office, healthcare reception, or a similar patient-access role.• Proficiency in patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and front desk administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with patient check-in procedures and basic medical terminology used in clinical settings.
• Working knowledge of EMR systems and the ability to enter and review information accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain organized, and provide dependable service in a busy environment.
Compensation
