Dispatcher

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher for a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, you will coordinate schedules, communicate with drivers or field staff, and ensure timely service delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, technicians, or service personnel to appropriate locations
• Monitor routes and track service progress to ensure on-time arrivals and completions
• Communicate with team members, customers, and management regarding scheduling updates, delays, and service issues
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, routes, and work orders
• Respond quickly to changes in schedules and adjust assignments as needed
• Provide excellent customer service while handling incoming calls and inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch, logistics, customer service, or coordination experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with dispatch software, Microsoft Office, and/or scheduling systems
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent required
