A well-established, highly regarded law firm in Chicago’s western suburbs is seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join its Estate Planning Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal assistant who enjoys client interaction and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide administrative and legal support for sophisticated estate planning and estate administration matters
· Draft, revise, and format estate planning documents and correspondence
· Manage calendars, deadlines, and client communications
· Coordinate filings and maintain organized client files
· Assist attorneys with daily workflow and matter management
· Communicate directly with clients and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Qualifications
· 1–3 years of experience supporting estate planning and/or estate administration matters
· Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented legal environment
· Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
· Comfortable managing frequent client interaction
· Proficiency in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
· Experience with WealthCounsel, Time Matters, and Juris is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: $55,000–$70,000, depending on experience
