Corporate Attorney
Overview
A well-established, sophisticated law firm in the Chicago suburbs is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join its collaborative transactional practice. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking to build a long-term career in franchise and corporate law within a supportive, growth-oriented environment. The position offers meaningful autonomy, including responsibility for an existing client base, while working closely with experienced attorneys on complex and engaging matters. The practice is strictly transactional and regulatory – no litigation.
Practice Focus
The firm’s corporate practice spans a wide range of general business matters, including:
- Entity formation and structuring
- Business acquisitions and sales
- Corporate governance
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
- 2+ years of experience in transactional business or corporate law
- Prior experience with direct client interaction
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle matters independently while collaborating with the team
- Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills
- Consistent focus on high-quality work and client service
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000–$130,000, depending on experience (higher compensation may be available for more experienced candidates)
- Bonus: Based on individual and firm performance
