Senior Integrations Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Support the accounting integration of newly acquired entities by coordinating finance-related activities and ensuring a smooth incorporation into existing reporting processes.
• Manage post-acquisition accounting tasks, including preparing opening balance sheets and calculating net working capital adjustments following close.
• Record financial activity in the general ledger with a high level of accuracy and attention to proper classification.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding differences in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Analyze account activity and explain its impact on the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Partner with operational leaders to clarify financial results, answer reporting questions, and provide timely insight into performance trends.
• Contribute to decision support by translating financial data into clear recommendations for business and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with the month-end close by preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and helping deliver complete and accurate financial information on schedule.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address accounting issues, share information, and support broader finance objectives.
Qualifications:
• Strong experience with month-end close activities in a corporate or multi-entity accounting environment.• Proficiency in general ledger accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries.
• Demonstrated ability to complete account reconciliations accurately and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining reliable supporting documentation.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and how accounting activity affects the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Ability to interpret financial results, communicate findings clearly, and support operational decision-making.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
