HRIS Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong HR specialist with hands-on experience in HRIS management, system reconciliation, and HRIS implementations or migrations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and optimization of our HR systems.
The ideal candidate has experience working through HRIS transitions, data audits, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance teams. Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and/or UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Management & Optimization
- Maintain and support HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and compliance
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for HR systems, including troubleshooting and user support
- Configure workflows, reporting structures, and system updates as needed
HRIS Implementation & Migration
- Lead or support HRIS implementations, upgrades, or system transitions (e.g., legacy systems to Workforce Now or UKG)
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful system deployment
- Assist with system testing, validation, and post-implementation support
Data Reconciliation & Auditing
- Perform data reconciliation between HR, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems
- Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and metrics
- Support leadership with data-driven insights for workforce and operational decisions
- Maintain compliance reporting (EEO, audits, internal reporting, etc.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to streamline processes
- Support process improvements and automation efforts across systems
- Train HR staff and end-users on HRIS tools and best practices
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration, data management, or HR operations
- Hands-on experience with HRIS data reconciliation and system auditing
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Highly Preferred
- Direct experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group)
- Experience supporting or leading HRIS implementations or system migrations
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and timekeeping integrations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, etc.)
Nice to Have
- HRIS-related certifications or project management experience
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and HR compliance standards
