Sr. Accountant
Our client, a very busy real estate company located in Central Bucks County PA is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will manage essential accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, payroll processing, and commission tracking, along with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for multiple company entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial adjustments.
• Monitor financial records for discrepancies and collaborate with CPAs to resolve issues.
• Track agent activity, ensuring commissions and charges are accurately recorded.
• Manage payroll processing, conduct benefits audits, and oversee related HR functions.
• Compile and prepare data for tax filings, addressing tax notices as required.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, lease agreements, and loan records.
• Process daily commissions and manage payments to agents and vendors efficiently.
• Handle loan payments, perform banking transfers, and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Support compliance efforts, including managing escrow accounts, unclaimed property, and fraud prevention measures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Proven experience in real estate accounting and managing multiple entities.
• Expertise in payroll processing, benefits audits, and commission tracking.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.
Compensation
