Step into a high‑impact, high‑visibility finance role embedded at the center of plant operations. In this position, you become the go‑to financial partner for cross‑functional leaders—shaping decisions, influencing productivity, tightening inventory performance, and strengthening the financial backbone of the facility.

You’ll guide multiple value streams, own key financial processes, and help steer the plant toward its operational and strategic targets. This is not a “sit‑behind‑the‑desk” job—it's an active, immersive role driving continuous improvement.

🚀 What You’ll Take On

💰 Boost Operational & Financial Performance

• Champion plant‑level cost optimization and cash efficiency, collaborating directly with leadership to support revenue momentum and margin performance.

📦 Lead Inventory Excellence

• Own and enhance the Excess & Obsolete (E& O) process.
• Oversee asset and inventory reporting with unwavering accuracy.

📊 Bring Numbers to Life

• Build and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reporting that tracks KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and cash flow.
• Strengthen analytical capabilities across the plant through better tools, dashboards, and cost‑structure insights.

🧩 Decode Plant Financials

• Break down production and value‑stream results into meaningful financial stories.
• Translate variance drivers—volume, mix, inflation, productivity—into clear explanations leaders can act on.
• Support Percent‑of‑Completion (POC) revenue recognition understanding.

📈 Guide Smarter Decision‑Making

• Provide sharp variance analysis on cost center performance vs. budget, exposing trends and cost drivers.
• Participate in, and at times lead, cross‑functional initiatives driving operational innovation.

🗂 Own the Close

• Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries and reporting package submissions.

Qualifications:

🧠 What You Bring

🎓 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in FP& A, plant/operational finance, or corporate finance with exposure to standard costing environments.
• Experience with Percent‑of‑Completion revenue is a plus.

🛠 Technical Toolkit

• Advanced Excel mastery required.
• Exposure to Tableau, Sievo, OneStream XF, or similar analytics tools is an advantage.
• Comfort working within ERP systems.
• Solid grounding in US GAAP.

🤝 Core Strengths

• Highly organized, able to balance multiple priorities without losing momentum.
• Strong communicator capable of building credibility across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to connect operational decisions to financial outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
