About the Role

Introduction –

• This role offers the opportunity to drive impact in the school education sector by promoting high‑quality educational products in a growing and competitive market.

• You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and schools, contributing to OUP’s mission of supporting learning and education.
• The role is dynamic and field‑focused, involving market engagement, product promotion, and collaboration on educational workshops and initiatives.

Opportunity –

• You will be responsible for achieving sales and collection budgets within the assigned territory through structured planning and aggressive promotion of education products.
• Your day‑to‑day work will include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and planning product promotions.
  • Driving market share growth and retention.
  • Promoting educational titles in schools within the designated area.
  • Delivering value‑added services such as workshops and educational activities.
  • Ensuring timely collections and tracking monthly collection budgets.
  • Executing market plans and ensuring excellent customer service.
    • Your contribution will directly impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and OUP’s market presence in the school education domain.
    • You will also closely collaborate with digital sales, operations, academic excellence, marketing, and product teams, as well as external school heads and teachers.

About You

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Open to travel
• Strong market knowledge of the assigned territory
• Solution‑centric sales skills with exposure to digital
• Understanding and appreciation of the school education environment, its structure, and key challenges

Desirable

• Experience working with both private and public educational institutions
