Description
The Latinx Lab Studio Production Coordinator is responsible for producing long-form multimedia content for the Latinx Lab Studio projects through all stages of pre-production, production, and post-production. The Latinx Lab Studio Production Coordinator oversees the curation, drafting, and finalization of scripts to ensure alignment with the Latinx Lab’s mission and storytelling goals.

Essential Duties
- Coordinate and facilitate pre-production meetings for long-form media projects.
- Develop episode concepts, production timelines, and storytelling frameworks for the Latinx Lab.
- Recruit, organize, and communicate with production crew members and on-camera talent.
- Conduct filming location scouting and assist with production logistics and scheduling.
- Curate, draft, edit, and finalize scripts aligned with project goals and community-centered storytelling practices.
- Oversee post-production workflows, including reviewing and managing video and audio editing processes.
- Collaborate with project leadership to ensure timely completion of media deliverables.
- Establish and maintain publishing schedules for episode and long-form digital content.
- Support the preservation and dissemination of Latinx Lab archival storytelling projects across digital platforms.
- Collaborates on the streaming of the episodes on the Latinx Lab.Studio publishing platform.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Interest in video production, storytelling, and/or social justice topics.
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community partners.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with video editing software
- Familiarity with production workflows and terminology.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Passion for Latinx storytelling and community engagement
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s in Communications, Media, Ethnic Studies, or related majors preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged sitting in front of computer. Walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10-15 pounds of objects/material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.
