Project Manager, Environmental Engineering

What you will do:

  • Lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction

  • Oversee design development including plans, drawings, reports, and permitting

  • Ensure quality and technical excellence across project deliverables

  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff

  • Conduct field visits and provide construction oversight

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

What you will bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months

  • 6+ years of experience in design and construction oversight

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Experience with permitting and environmental compliance

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites

  • Our preferred candidate will also bring:
    • Experience working with municipalities or public agencies

    • Familiarity with NEPA, SWPPP, NPDES, or related frameworks

    • Project management training or certification
