Position Summary

The Manager, Distribution is responsible for leading distribution center operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality product flow. This role oversees multiple functional areas and leaders within the distribution environment, driving operational performance, inventory accuracy, and service levels. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement process improvements while supporting a fast-paced, multi-shift operation. The Manager, Distribution partners cross-functionally to optimize logistics strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Develops and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow
  • Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements to develop strategies that achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates
  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports
  • Coordinates logistics activities with internal and external customers

Schedule

The traditional hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; flexibility is required due to the Distribution Center operating across two shifts, Monday - Friday. This is an in-office/on-site position.

  • Requires broad professional and industry knowledge, with the ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies and concepts across the organization
  • Drives development of advanced technologies, principles, and processes
  • Manages activities of a functional area consisting of at least two departments or major functions through managers and/or experienced employees; responsible for cost, methods, and employee results
  • Applies judgment in resolving complex problems based on experience
  • Serves as a primary contact on projects and departmental operations; interacts with senior internal and external personnel on issues requiring coordination across organizational lines

Expertise: Qualifications – Education / Experience / Training

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Applicable industry or professional certification

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently uses hands to handle or feel objects and reach with hands and arms. Salary Range: $101,437-$126,789


The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
