We are seeking a Director, Corporate Operational Excellence to lead enterprise-wide operational improvement initiatives focused on execution consistency, scalability, and delivery predictability across a growing multi-business-unit organization.  Reporting directly to the Senior. VP of Operations, this role partners closely with business unit leadership and Operational Excellence counterparts across the company to improve operational maturity, accelerate adoption of scalable operating practices, and reduce execution variability across the enterprise. This leader will play a key role in strengthening operational alignment across legacy and acquired organizations while driving practical, hands-on operational improvement in a decentralized engineering environment. 

 

You will: 

Enterprise Operational Improvement & Execution Consistency 

  • Partner with business unit leadership and Operational Excellence teams to improve execution consistency, operational maturity, and scalable delivery practices across the organization. 
  • Assess operational workflows, project execution practices, and process adoption to identify maturity gaps, execution risk, and improvement opportunities. 
  • Drive adoption of enterprise operational standards, delivery methodologies, and scalable operating practices across business units. 
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and process fragmentation impacting forecasting accuracy, margin performance, and delivery predictability. 
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives focused on execution discipline, operational transparency, and scalable growth. 
  • Support development and continuous improvement of enterprise operational KPIs, review mechanisms, and performance visibility. 
  • Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. 

Continuous Improvement & Enterprise Alignment 

  • Drive operational change initiatives through influence, data-driven analysis, and direct engagement with operational leaders and teams. 
  • Build strong partnerships across engineering, project management, operations, and business unit leadership to support sustainable operational adoption. 
  • Champion practical adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows that improve scalability and reduce execution friction. 
  • Support operational integration of acquired companies through maturity assessments, convergence planning, and adoption of enterprise operating practices. 
  • Facilitate cross-business-unit collaboration, operational knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption. 

Governance & Operational Risk 

  • Ensure operational workflows align with enterprise quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations. 
  • Support operational reviews, targeted audits, and remediation planning to address execution risk and process adoption gaps. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations leadership to support project risk assessments and execution readiness. 
  • Participate in project and operational reviews to support alignment with enterprise delivery expectations and operational standards.  

 

You have: 

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related technical field, or equivalent operational leadership experience. 
  • 10+ years of experience driving operational improvement, execution consistency, or enterprise process optimization within project-driven technical organizations. 
  • Demonstrated success improving operational scalability, delivery predictability, and execution maturity across decentralized or multi-business-unit environments. 
  • Proven ability to influence operational adoption and drive organizational change without direct authority. 
  • Experience leading operational improvement initiatives in systems integration, automation, engineering services, technical consulting, or similar project-based industries. 
  • Experience supporting operational integration, convergence, or maturity improvement initiatives within acquisitive or high-growth organizations preferred. 
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Experience with operational frameworks and quality systems such as CSIA Best Practices, ISO 9001, GxP, GAMP 5, CSA, or similar standards preferred. 
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems environments (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI) preferred.
