We are seeking an Environmental Intern to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assist Environmental Scientists with projects, data gathering, document preparation, and document reviews

    Collect and organize environmental data for analysis and reporting

    Conduct research on environmental regulations and emerging trends

    Prepare outreach publications and handouts

    Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, organizing project documents, and managing databases

    Some fieldwork may be assigned

    Some travel may be required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

    Basic understanding of environmental regulations and research methods.

    Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is required.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

    Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    40-Hr HAZWOPER certification a plus.

    Have reliable transportation; some travel may be required.

    Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required.
