We are currently seeking a talented, relationship-focused Architect to join our growing Corporate Practice in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team designing innovative corporate workplaces, financial institutions, and commercial environments that enhance how people work, connect, and thrive.

 

You’ll contribute to all phases of project delivery, from planning and design through construction documentation and client collaboration, while working alongside experienced architects, engineers, and designers in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

 

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and growing RS&H’s Corporate Practice throughout Florida and across the Southeast while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, partners, and project teams. You’ll help lead the planning, design, and delivery of impactful corporate workplace, commercial office, and financial institution projects that enhance the employee and client experience while supporting long-term business growth.

 

You will:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective corporate and commercial clients
  • Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and coordination of complex architectural projects from concept through construction
  • Prepare and oversee construction documents, specifications, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, technically sound, and innovative design solutions
  • Guide projects through all phases of design and construction administration while helping maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to emerging professionals and junior staff
  • Participate in client meetings, design presentations, quality reviews, and construction site observations
  • Support business development efforts, proposal development, and client relationship management activities
  • Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented team culture

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, allowing a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work. 

 

To Thrive in This Role, You’ll Bring

  • A professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of professional architectural experience with corporate workplace, commercial office, financial institution, or mixed-use project experience preferred
  • Active architectural licensure in good standing
  • Experience leading large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, life safety requirements, and commercial design standards
  • Proficiency in architectural production software and construction documentation, including Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship, problem-solving, and innovative design
  • The ability to navigate challenges with professionalism, creativity, and business acumen
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing client expectations in a fast-paced environment
