Controller
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and support business performance at a New York-based facility. This role is responsible for leading accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving budgeting and forecasting efforts. The Controller will partner closely with operational and executive leadership to strengthen internal controls, improve financial visibility, and support efficient, compliant business practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification required
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting, finance, or business operations experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, bank reconciliations, cash flow management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Familiarity with manufacturing and construction accounting environments
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation
