Sr. IT Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex data, analytics, and technology initiatives in Southern California. This Long-term Contract position requires a strong project leader who can guide cross-functional teams, manage delivery from planning through execution, and ensure outcomes meet business goals, governance expectations, and quality standards. The role is onsite four days per week and is well suited for someone with a background in privacy-focused programs, advanced analytics environments, and enterprise-scale digital initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Direct end-to-end delivery of technology and data platform projects by organizing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and key milestones.
• Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps, schedules, and work plans to keep teams aligned and deliverables on track throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate efforts across business, technical, legal, information security, and data governance stakeholders to support efficient execution and informed decision-making.
• Lead privacy-centered project activities, including compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control checkpoints for sensitive and regulated data.
• Ensure privacy and governance expectations are embedded into project artifacts such as requirements, user stories, backlog items, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee implementation of data protection measures, including access controls, masking approaches, data minimization practices, retention processes, and auditability standards.
• Monitor project health by tracking risks, dependencies, budgets, quality measures, and status updates, then drive corrective actions when needed.
• Support broader digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives by delivering projects in line with approved objectives and enterprise governance standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT or data platform projects in complex enterprise environments.• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, governance, and quality management practices.
• Hands-on background leading initiatives involving data privacy, regulatory compliance, and security-related controls.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams that include legal, information security, data governance, and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting analytics or digital transformation programs with multiple dependencies and delivery milestones.
• Skilled at translating compliance and governance needs into actionable project requirements and delivery plans.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills in an onsite, collaborative work setting.
• Consumer privacy experience is preferred.
