Order Entry Customer Service
Responsibilities:
• Process customer orders accurately in an Oracle-based system while verifying pricing, purchase order details, and related data.
• Prepare and pull items for customer pickup, maintaining speed and accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and organize next-day routing to support efficient driver dispatch.
• Follow up with customers regarding shipments, delivery status, and overall satisfaction to provide dependable service.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, logistics, production, sales, and credit teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Strengthen customer relationships by identifying opportunities to support repeat business and expand account activity.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Assist with physical order handling as needed, including lifting items up to 25 pounds safely.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or operations support within a fast-paced setting.• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while adapting to changing daily demands.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling orders, pricing, and customer information.
• Experience working with order management, CRM, or Oracle-based systems is preferred.
• Confidence communicating with customers and internal teams through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Background in a warehouse-connected or logistics-supported environment is preferred.
• Comfortable contributing to a team-focused workplace while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
Compensation
