Litigation Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a detail-oriented services team in Phoenix, Arizona on a Contract to Permanent basis. This role will provide direct support to an Insurance Defense partner and play an important part in managing active civil litigation matters from discovery through trial readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound legal drafting ability, and the confidence to coordinate case materials in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Support an Insurance Defense attorney with day-to-day litigation activities across a busy caseload.
• Prepare, organize, and track written discovery, including drafting responses and assembling requests for production and other case materials.
• Coordinate trial preparation efforts by managing schedules, case files, and deadlines leading up to hearings and trial.
• Assemble binders, exhibits, and supporting documentation for depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial proceedings.
• Oversee document collection, review, and production to ensure materials are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials for attorney review and filing.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files using case management tools and established litigation support processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of discovery procedures, document production, and trial preparation workflows.
• Ability to draft legal documents and manage detailed case documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with case management software and other tools used to support litigation teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and legal staff.

Compensation

$37.00-$44.00 Hourly
