Pre-Press Specialist
We are looking for a Pre-Press Specialist to join Royce Apparel in Kannapolis, North Carolina for a Long-term Contract opportunity. This onsite role supports apparel production by preparing artwork and print-ready files, managing color separations, and organizing layouts for efficient output. The ideal candidate brings hands-on pre-press experience, works comfortably with vector-based designs, and can help maintain smooth day-to-day production in a relaxed, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare production-ready artwork and files for apparel printing projects across multiple product lines.
• Perform color separation work and build accurate layouts to support quality printing results.
• Operate pre-press equipment and complete setup activities required before items move into production.
• Review incoming designs for print readiness and make technical adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep production schedules moving and address file-related issues quickly.
• Maintain organized digital assets and ensure artwork specifications are followed throughout the pre-press process.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in a pre-press or print production environment.• Background in the pre-press printing industry is required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and vector-based artwork preparation.
• Experience creating or supporting four-color separations is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of scalable vector graphics and print layout standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Salisbury, North Carolina for a 40-hour workweek.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple production tasks effectively.
Compensation
