Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support invoice processing operations in Fargo, North Dakota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, comfortable working independently in a back-office setting, and confident spending most of the day on a computer. The person in this role will help maintain clean, reliable records by reviewing invoice details, confirming accuracy, and entering information efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Examine incoming invoices carefully and confirm that details are complete, accurate, and ready for entry.
• Input invoice information into company systems with a strong focus on speed, precision, and consistency.
• Compare source documents against entered records to identify and correct discrepancies before submission.
• Manage a high volume of numeric and text-based data while meeting daily productivity expectations.
• Organize and maintain digital records to support efficient back-office operations and accurate documentation.
• Communicate with team members in person and through Microsoft Teams to clarify information and resolve data questions.
• Monitor assigned tasks closely and follow established procedures to keep invoice processing on schedule.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role.
• Demonstrated ability to enter high volumes of data accurately, including numeric information.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors quickly.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive computer-based tasks.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating both in person and through Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to work independently in a back-office setting while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Compensation

$20.00-$22.00 Hourly
