Procurement Manager

Compensation: $80 to $120 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations and strengthen sourcing strategies in Hauppauge, New York. This role will oversee procurement activities that support business needs, improve supplier performance, and promote cost-effective decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, a disciplined approach to purchasing processes, and the ability to build productive vendor relationships while maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Direct day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring purchasing decisions align with organizational priorities, budgets, and service expectations.
• Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, from request review through issuance, follow-up, and completion, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate current buying practices and implement improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and support consistent execution.
• Lead supplier and contract discussions to secure favorable pricing, service levels, delivery terms, and overall commercial value.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand demand, develop sourcing plans, and ensure timely acquisition of required goods and services.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed standards and address issues related to quality, delivery, cost, or responsiveness.
• Maintain procurement records, reporting, and documentation to support audit readiness and informed business decisions.
• Contribute to broader procurement function initiatives, including process enhancements and operational changes when needed.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate procurement practices and end-to-end purchasing operations.
• Strong experience managing purchase orders and supporting structured buying processes in a business environment.
• Proven success negotiating contracts and working with suppliers to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
• Solid understanding of procurement controls, documentation standards, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across teams.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$120,000.00 Yearly
