Full Charge Bookkeeper
Robert Half is seeking a talented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) consulting team. Key Responsibilities:
Full-Charge Bookkeeping:
Manage all aspects of the general ledger including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Month-End & Year-End Close:
Lead and execute accurate and timely closing processes.
Budget Management:
Assist in budget preparation, monitor variances, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Tax Support:
Partner with tax professionals to ensure documentation is accurate and ready for filings.
Compliance:
Maintain adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and other regulatory standards.
Data Entry & Accuracy:
Ensure financial records are complete and accurate, including reconciliations and adjustments.
Client Collaboration:
Act as a trusted advisor by building relationships with clients and keeping them informed of project financials.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting role
Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions
Solid understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations
Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and reporting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
Preferred: Certified Bookkeeper (ACB) or similar certification
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including full-charge responsibilities
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to adapt across industries
Willingness to work onsite as needed based on client assignments
