Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a non-profit organization in Portage, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, handling high-volume phone interactions, and keeping service records accurate and up to date. The person in this role will provide courteous assistance, process orders efficiently, and contribute to a positive experience for every caller.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
• Assist individuals with questions, service needs, and general account or order-related concerns.
• Enter orders and update customer information accurately within the appropriate systems.
• Handle a steady flow of phone interactions while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Make outbound calls when needed to follow up on requests, clarify details, or provide updates.
• Document conversations, actions taken, and next steps to ensure complete service records.
• Resolve routine issues promptly and escalate more complex matters to the appropriate team.
• Support day-to-day call center operations by meeting service expectations and response timelines.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment.• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls in an efficient and detail-focused manner.
• Strong data entry and order processing skills with close attention to accuracy.
• Clear verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with changing customer needs.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple systems while assisting callers.
• Reliable organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Compensation
