Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations in St.Cloud, Minnesota. This is a part-time Contract position suited for someone who can manage core accounting tasks accurately and efficiently while contributing to routine reporting and record maintenance. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in transactional accounting and is comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and maintain accurate accounts payable records.

• Apply incoming payments, track outstanding balances, and support accounts receivable activities.

• Reconcile company credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Enter and update donor-related information with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

• Assist with recurring financial reports and provide administrative support for accounting documentation.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
• Experience with data entry and invoice processing in a business environment.
• Ability to complete credit card reconciliations accurately and independently.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet organization and basic formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time setting.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 Hourly
