Operations Coordinator

Compensation: $28 to $35 Hourly

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to support daily workplace operations for a Contract position based in San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong organizational skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a positive attitude when responding to facility needs. The successful candidate will help maintain an efficient, welcoming environment by coordinating requests, supporting shared spaces, and working closely with internal teams. Flexibility for occasional weekend coverage is important in order to meet operational demands.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day facilities activities to help keep the office environment safe, organized, and fully operational.

• Manage maintenance requests, track work orders, and follow up on open items using a computerized maintenance management system.

• Support conference room readiness by monitoring setup needs, resolving room-related issues, and helping shared spaces remain presentable.

• Assist with facilities management tasks such as vendor coordination, service scheduling, and general workplace support.

• Maintain accurate records for facilities activity, service requests, and related administrative updates across internal systems.

• Partner with team members and site contacts to address operational concerns quickly and provide responsive customer service.

• Help monitor timekeeping or scheduling processes as needed.

• Provide coverage outside standard weekday hours when required, including weekend support based on business needs.


Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in facilities support, workplace operations, or a related coordination role.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Planner.

• Familiarity with conference room support, maintenance request tracking, and general facilities management responsibilities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and build positive working relationships.

• Practical problem-solving ability and sound judgment when handling day-to-day operational issues.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and service-oriented, with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working in a business casual setting and flexible with scheduling, including occasional weekend availability.
