Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to oversee accurate, high-volume payroll operations for a manufacturing company based in Post Falls - Coeur d Alene area. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliant payroll practices, supporting financial accuracy, and partnering with internal teams to keep employee records and reporting aligned. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll expertise, sound judgment, and a careful approach to confidential information.
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end, multi-state bi-weekly payroll for 700+ employees, ensuring accuracy of earnings, deductions, tax compliance, and timely remittance.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, accounting, and leadership to maintain accurate employee data, job codes/titles, and HRIS integrity.
• Oversee payroll tax compliance, including registration, reporting, reconciliations, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare and analyze payroll-related reporting (headcount, labor, overtime), journal entries, and general ledger support.
• Reconcile and validate benefits, 401(k), and payroll deductions, ensuring accuracy in billing, contributions, and enrollments.
• Support commissions processing and benefits administration, including coordination with third-party providers and open enrollment activities.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll, including multi-state payroll administration for 300+ employees.
• Must be proficient with ADP
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, solve problems, and make sound judgments.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee and payroll information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Compensation
