Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Technical Business Consultant to serve as a key liaison between business leadership and IT teams. This role is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business needs, driving process improvements, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of business acumen and technical understanding, with the ability to influence decision-making, define requirements, and support the delivery of scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary liaison between business units and IT, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and technology initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Lead discussions to design and recommend technology solutions that align with business objectives
• Facilitate communication across stakeholders, including leadership teams and external vendors
• Evaluate and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and performance
• Develop and track metrics and KPIs to measure business and technology outcomes
• Provide input into strategic decisions, including technology direction and investments
• Support solution design and integration, ensuring systems meet business needs and drive value
• Contribute to buy vs. build decisions by evaluating technical and business considerations
• Negotiate requirements, deliverables, and timelines across multiple stakeholders and teams
• Ensure ongoing alignment between business strategy and technology execution

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 8+ years of experience in a technical business consulting, business analysis, or related role
• Strong understanding of:
• Business processes and operational workflows
• Information systems and technology solutions
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience influencing decisions and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

•Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in complex, enterprise-level environments
• Background supporting both business and technology organizations
• Experience with process improvement, metrics development, and performance tracking
• Familiarity with system integration and large-scale transformation initiatives
