Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support a healthcare organization on a Contract basis. This role will focus on strengthening balance sheet integrity, assisting with acquisition-related financial review activities, and helping resolve outstanding audit matters. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work through complex reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead detailed balance sheet analysis and perform cleanup efforts to improve accuracy and support reliable financial reporting.
• Provide accounting support for acquisition-related due diligence by reviewing financial data, identifying issues, and helping prepare documentation for evaluation.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding audit concerns tied to balance sheet reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Oversee account reconciliation activities and ensure discrepancies are researched, documented, and cleared promptly.
• Support month-end close processes and help maintain the accuracy of general ledger balances.
• Apply lease accounting guidance, including ASC 842 requirements, to assess compliance and improve reporting treatment where needed.
• Prepare schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to organize large data sets, perform financial analysis, and present findings clearly.
• Contribute expertise in NetSuite, when applicable, to support accounting operations and reporting activities.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including work in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership-level role.• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial statement audit support.
• Demonstrated experience with due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, or comparable transactions.
• Deep knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet review processes.
• Hands-on understanding of lease accounting requirements, including ASC 842.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build analyses, reconcile data, and manage complex financial information.
• Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills within deadline-driven environments.
Compensation
