Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a contract assignment supporting field operations in Highbridge, Wisconsin. This onsite role will help maintain accurate administrative and equipment-related records for an active project expected to last 6 months.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently, and can keep paperwork, data, and approvals organized throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
• Enter mechanic activity, labor hours, and service details into internal tracking systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain organized records for equipment maintenance, work orders, invoices, and approval documentation.
• Support the master mechanic by managing daily administrative paperwork tied to repair and service operations.
• Review job-related codes and equipment information to ensure entries are complete and properly matched to each task.
• Track maintenance history for heavy equipment.
• Coordinate invoice processing and assist with verifying approvals before documentation is finalized.
• Keep office records current and accessible while balancing multiple requests in a busy onsite project setting.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in data entry or administrative support with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and confidence using Excel for data tracking and record management.
• Ability to type efficiently and perform high-volume numeric and text-based data entry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage paperwork and priorities independently.
• Quick learning ability and a self-directed approach to day-to-day responsibilities.
• Helpful background in equipment, parts, automotive parts, or related mechanical environments.
• Comfortable communicating clearly, asking questions when needed, and working effectively under pressure.
