Accounts Payable Manager
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily accounts payable operations, ensuring invoices are reviewed, coded, and processed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage payment activities such as check runs and ACH transactions while maintaining proper approval and documentation standards.
• Verify invoice details against company policies and supporting records to promote accurate expense allocation.
• Monitor outstanding payables, resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal teams, and keep payment timelines on track.
• Maintain organized AP records and reporting to support audits, reconciliations, and financial oversight.
• Strengthen compliance with internal controls by reviewing workflows and addressing processing issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience leading or managing accounts payable functions in a detail-focused accounting environment.• Strong working knowledge of invoice coding, payment processing, and vendor account maintenance.
• Hands-on experience administering check runs and ACH payments with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and resolve payable-related problems efficiently.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable controls, documentation practices, and financial recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
