Hybrid | Austin, TX | Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support product assortment, merchandising strategy, and in-store and digital execution. This role will focus on optimizing product visibility, driving sales performance, and ensuring cohesive merchandising across retail channels.

Day-to-day Expectations:

• Support development and execution of merchandising strategies across stores and eCommerce channels
• Analyze sales, inventory, and customer trends to inform product assortment and placement decisions
• Partner with buying, marketing, and planning teams to align on seasonal launches and promotions
• Coordinate product launches, pricing updates, and promotional rollouts
• Optimize product categorization, site merchandising, and on-site search and navigation (for eCommerce)
• Monitor inventory levels and partner with supply chain teams to support forecasting and replenishment
• Create reports and dashboards to track product performance, sell-through rates, and margin trends
• Ensure brand consistency and visual presentation standards across all merchandising touchpoints

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, retail planning, or eCommerce merchandising
• Experience analyzing sales data, inventory, and product performance metrics
• Familiarity with retail merchandising cycles, assortment planning, and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple product categories and timelines
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Experience/Knowledge:

• Merchandising & eCommerce Platforms: Shopify, Magento (Adobe Commerce), Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Planning & Inventory Tools: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle Retail
• Analytics & Reporting: Excel (advanced), Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau
• Product Information Management (PIM): Salsify, Akeneo
• Collaboration & Workflow: Asana, Monday.com, Trello
• Pricing & Assortment Tools (nice to have): EDITED, RetailNext
