AttainX is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of National Security Solutions to provide technical leadership, telecommunications expertise, and program management support for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Priority Services End-to-End Integration Support Program.
This position serves as AttainX's lead Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting mission-critical National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) communications services. The Director will provide strategic guidance, engineering oversight, carrier coordination, operational support, and technical leadership supporting Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS), Wireless Priority Service (WPS), and Next Generation Network Priority Services (NGN-PS).
The successful candidate will work closely with CISA leadership, telecommunications carriers, service providers, and technical stakeholders to ensure critical emergency communications services remain available, interoperable, resilient, and effective during routine operations and national emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.Master's degree preferred.Active Secret Security Clearance required and must be maintained throughout employment.Minimum 10 years of telecommunications industry experience.Minimum 5 years of experience leading telecommunications programs, projects, or engineering teams.Experience supporting Federal Government telecommunications, network infrastructure, homeland security, defense, public safety, or emergency communications programs.Experience working with wireless and wireline telecommunications carriers and service providers.Knowledge of telecommunications technologies including VoIP, VoLTE, IP networking, 4G/5G networks, carrier infrastructure, and next-generation communications services.Experience managing technical projects, schedules, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications.Excellent customer engagement, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to effectively collaborate with Government customers, carriers, technical teams, and executive leadership.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Experience supporting CISA, DHS, FEMA, DoD, FirstNet, GETS, WPS, or NS/EP communications programs preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as AttainX's lead Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert supporting the CISA Priority Services Program.Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for telecommunications service delivery, carrier integration, and operational support activities.Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and customer communications.Coordinate with national and regional telecommunications carriers supporting priority communications services.Support telecommunications engineering, network modernization, interoperability, and service sustainment initiatives.Analyze telecommunications service performance and recommend improvements to enhance resiliency, availability, and operational effectiveness.Oversee testing, validation, and operational readiness activities supporting telecommunications services.Prepare and present technical briefings, reports, recommendations, and status updates to Government stakeholders.Participate in carrier coordination forums, technical working groups, and industry standards activities as required.Support contract performance objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to technical team members supporting the program.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Position is primarily remote with occasional travel required to customer locations, carrier meetings, conferences, and program reviews.Approximately five (5) trips annually may be required.Candidate must be capable of supporting both classified and unclassified environments as required.
