MetalTek International is seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting & Shared Services to lead our corporate Shared Services function in Waukesha, WI. This role oversees payroll, accounts payable, cash application, expense reporting, general accounting, and month-end close support across MetalTek’s four divisions.


The successful candidate will provide practical leadership, strengthen accountability, and ensure accurate and timely financial execution. You will partner with divisional controllers and business leaders to improve service delivery, standardize processes, strengthen controls, and support ERP and finance-transformation initiatives.


Key responsibilities include leading and developing the Shared Services team, ensuring reconciliations and accruals are completed accurately, providing financial information and analysis to the Controller group, resolving accounting and service issues, and driving continuous improvement across people, processes, and technology.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

· Five or more years of accounting leadership or management experience.

· Strong knowledge of payroll, general accounting, balance-sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting, and month-end close.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Experience working within an ERP environment.

· Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to address issues directly, make sound decisions, and clearly communicate financial information.

· CPA license strongly preferred.

· Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred.

· Experience supporting an ERP implementation, upgrade, or finance-transformation initiative preferred.
